I've just asserted to a few colleagues that a "tube" packet of Fruit Pastilles always begins with a yellow followed by a black, and that it doesn't matter which end you open the packet. They didn't believe me. I've searched the web for evidence, and failed to find any, and I'm now doubting my sanity...
Come on, somebody back me up here...?!

I paid a visit to the Rowntrees website. They have a phone number for "extrememly urgent enquiries", which I considered using, but I guess it's not that urgent, so I've emailed to ask if they can confirm my assertion. Watch this space...
Dr Noble, Can i be the first to tell you that you are thinking way too much about this fruit pastille thing! Having said that, i am going to purchase some fruit pastilles post shift and see for myself....watch this space...:)

I don't believe it. It's a cover-up.
I was searching believing the exact same thing and this was the only page i found! I'm sure the first one is always yellow regardless of which end you open!
I found this page because I have always said, more often than not, it's a yellow at the end of packs... surely we aren't crazy?! I genuinely expected it to be confirmed when I googled.
